Battle Angel Alita Mars Chronicle 5

I am so glad I got great quality books and just wish I could get some quality and at a good price for The last order.

I heard this was going to be a 5 book finale to the Alita saga, It doesn't have much alita but I figured Id buy the run. Now I see its going for at least 7 books with no hint as to when it will end... so i'm stopping with #6, for now.Its really just a time occupier. Its not very interesting, doesnt have any shocking reveals, and I haven't anticipated getting the next issues.That being said I picked up #6, it had the shocking reveal everyone has been waiting for.

Now I know who Alita’s parents were and it blows my mind!!! I wonder what the last volume will be a about?

These were a gift. Recipient was very pleased.

Mars Chronicles has mostly focused on the events of Alita's childhood, and she's actually been absent for most of them as the story focuses on the creepy villain Baron Muster and his protege Erica.But the villains are sufficiently interesting that I don't mind.In this book we get Muster's origin which is properly tragic and operatic. And learn a tidbit about Alita's origins.The bottom line is if you've liked earlier books, stick with this, it's another good one.

I'd say only around 30% of this volume contains Alita/yoko centric story, the rest is divided between the Barons back story and a side story relating to him. Its still interesting but more main story progression would be more welcome.Artwork is on point as always, and the page count is not as lacking as the previous 2 volumes.

Se trata del quinto tomo de la saga correspondiente al pasado de Alita, y sus recuerdos de cuando era niña. Es una edición muy cuidada de Kodansha, con una composición prácticamente similar a la edición deluxe de la saga principal. Ésto hace que sea un formato excelente, con un tamaño adecuado para disfrutar de los dibujos.El tomo tiene 162 páginas, con algunas más de añadidos. Se trata de un cómic de tapa blanda, ligero, con una tonalidad de papel más tirando a reciclado que a blanquecino.En cuanto al apartado gráfico, el resultado es una maravilla. El dibujo tiene un detalle súper bien ejecutado, sin fallos de impresión. Combina rallado, degradado, así como tramas para dotar al dibujo de profundidad y volumen. Además, el contraste de tonalidades está muy cuidado, ayudando en todo momento a la visualización de las viñetas.
