TekutSilver Lockback Knife LK3882
T**N
Cheap materials, Poorly made
I was told growing up that if I didn't have something good to say, don't say anything. It is a pretty knife.I didn't expect much for $8 but wow. There is blade slop closed and blade slop in every direction opened. Very gritty action when opening or closing. It takes too much pressure on the lock bar to release it. Very dull out of the box. The steel is so soft that it is difficult to sharpen. If you get the angle wrong just a little it will go dull and then you have to fix it. I'm glad I learned to sharpen knives on different steel because I would have thought I was just really bad at it if I started with this.I only had one of these. Maybe it was defective. I won't buy another.A dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp knife. I would anticipate that it will dull very quickly resulting in someone putting a lot of pressure on the pivot which has slop in it right out of the box. I would expect an injury if I gave this to an inexperienced knife user.
