4 Way Diamond Knife Sharpener Hone Sharpening Stone New

We bought this, and another diamond hone off Amazon, I reordered both of them for us to have at our shop. This one outlasted the other by 3 to 1, but Our project was rather large, so it should be even better for most uses. We also posted a review on YouTube, Our user name is howeesmachineshop

I've been using diamond devices for sharpening my own set of 37 knives (yes, I'm a knife freak!) for some 15 years. I purchased this 4 way Diamond Knife Sharpener Hone Sharpening device for my oldest daughter. I had given her a diamond "steel" some 10 years ago, but I had noticed while visiting that it had not been used as often as it should have been. When I decided to purchase her a set of three flat "diamond stones" I found this product. I was going to visit them and had the unit shipped to her address with my name. When I got to her home, she gave me the package and I handed it back to her telling her that it was hers. After she opened it, she stated that it was similar to the diamond stones I keep with my knives, but she had always been afraid to use the flat set I have. After I sharpened three of her knives I told her to then sharpen five more in her set. She was amazed at how easy it was to sharpen her knives and not damage herself or her knives. Both she and her husband were quite happy and somewhat amazed at how easy sharpening their knives were to finish. I considered taking the diamond "steel" I had given them years ago for our guest house, but maybe I can manage that on my next trip!!! This 4 Way Diamond Sharpener is an incredible product. I will be getting more for my other children and grand children for Christmas.

This sharpener is easy to use and holds up to intermittent use for quite a while. My last one lasted 3 years

This gives a nice variety of grit. I put it on a rubber backed pot holder to keep it in place on a laminate counter top. Once you get used to holding a knife at the correct angle, it puts a nice edge on quickly.

This is an excellent product for making an edge quickly. It works well with all knives but it really shines with larger knives by cutting your investment of time considerably. The multiple grits allow you to prepare the edge for sharpening, honing and polishing. Do not confuse this product with a sharpening stone. This product is designed to make a profile for you to sharpen, hone and polish with other stones. Now, as to its purpose of making a profile or an edge, it does this job with excellence. Of course, it does require some knowledge and skill by the user. But again, I say for the purpose this product was built, it is an excellent product and well worth the money.

This is the second diamond stone I’ve purchased. I use it several times a day. As a woodworker I am continually sharpening my chisels, knifes, and anything with a flat blade, even my carpenter’s scraper. Anyway, after thousands of hours on use I decided to replace the old one but I really didn’t have to, I just wanted to get it done faster.
