Useless for UK users
i didnt realise what a 1 star review was for until i bought this modemi already own a PoE vigorswitch and i have owed a Draytek vigor router before. So i am familiar with draytek products and settings.This product however isnt in english the box the unstructions the GUI EVERYTHING is in german including the european style power supply i had to dig around in the loft for a multi volt power supply i'd seen in there and download the firmware in english and update the router but that was the least of my problems.the DSL socket was an RJ45 not an RJ11 i wasnt bothered at first because the smaller RJ11 will fit in there. Germans most likely use a RJ45. The Draytek vigor 160 modem GUI would recognise that i had plugged anything into the modem socket i know that everything works because my plusnet modem/router is working fine with it.i already had RJ45 crimping tool and a bag full of connectors so i cut off the RJ11 end and replaced it with a RJ45 with the pins on 4 red and 5 green. still no joy, i figure that the hardware must be for european networks and is incompatible for use in the UK.do not buy this if you live in the uk get the cheaper draytek vigor 130

This equipment is not designed for, or approved for use in the UK. This device if for parts of the EU only, hence the DE-AT-CH code in the product. Draytek’s UK models all have a ‘K’ in the part number. If buying then bear in mind it may not work as you expect.
