Q: will a male behave agressively toward this fake fish?

It depends on the personality of your fish. Some male betta fish do well with snails, shrimp, or tetras in their tank but some will kill them. Because this looks like a betta you will get a reaction. Some will flare for a while and then totally ignore it. If you buy it and your fish continues to flare it is too much stress and in my opinion should be removed.

As long as you want...….Betta didn't even know it was there :-(

It’s a small stone at the base with a hole. There’s a plastic fake betta attached with fishing line.

Q: Can this work for other fish too? Such as tetras or something else?

I don’t see why not. My betta just swims around it. The mirror has been the best toy I’ve bought for him so far.
