easy to read instructions would be useful - or illustration.
I used them to start the cut down the back shell of large lobster tails. and they worked well to start , but I found they “stuck” on the shell joints, so used strong kitchen scissors to continue.

Completely uneccessary, ordinary kitchen shears do the same job
I found out I didn't need these at all, after throwing away the packaging. so they will sit unused forever in the kitchen drawer. There's a very good BBC video on preparing a lobster that works perfectly. Complicated shears are not used and I suspect are harder to use. Save your money for the next lobster!I upgraded the review as I gave them to a lobster-loving friend and she was very happy.
