I got this for winterwear and, as expected, it's a well-made cap. Good lining to it and the material is thick enough to keep out the cold. No loose threads and nice, neat stitching. I've applied Proofide to the leather peak to provide protection from the rain (I had the Proofide for my Brooks leather bike saddle, so I didn't buy it in especially). It's completely waterproof, and because the tweed holds the water up, is better suited to the baseball cap design than a Gore-tex cap (which I also own), because Gore-tex tends to allow the built-up water droplets to eventually begin to slide off the cap and down your neck, save at the peak. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and this is well worth the money. I don't expect to wear this during warm weather as it really acts as an insulator for the head and is a top quality product.

All I can say is if you're wanting to buy this hat, buy it soon as I shall be buying up the rest of their stock soon as these are top notch... Seriously brilliant for the boys on a hunting trip!!! Waterproof, modern, respectable... Where could I possibly fault it?

As I have a large (not big) head I am sometimes dubious about buying hats online but this one fits perfectly, is very well made with excellent materials and looks good, it has so far kept the rain off, it is a bit pricey but is worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

Not a bad cap but really could do with a decent adjuster. Update, the adjuster is OK it was just stuck. Went out in it yesterday in very wet weather, the cap performed well but I ended up with a brown forehead as the dye in the peak washed out.

Bought as an alternative to my flat cap. Is warm and provides shade in the low watery sun on a shoot day.
