LowranceHOOK2-5 Baja Overland Offroad Chart Plotter GPS

Had issue with the Accuracy of GPS NOTE: picture of unit at 20 ft range.It mounted in a UTV see trail on screen moving around. UTVwas was sitting still. Called Lowrance support will repair under warranty. Also note I purchase in July 2023 from Amazon and unit was sold to Marine dealer in 2020 per Lowrance support.Unit was sold as new and was new but 3 years old. It was a cheap cost GPS but I thought it would be better.

Do not Buy this piece of Junk product it is a waste of about 400.00 dollars and after installing it and it does not work just flashes on for a few minutes then off on its own, and you can not get any support for the Lowrance Hook -5 Baja HDI GPS they only refer to the fish finder Hook 5 ,,,So Good Luck in the Desert BS”””

Helped me get around, put in my rzr and sits in the passenger side. Perfect for trail riding, easy to navigate. Definitely recommend

I liked the look and size of the Loran Hook 2-5. I contacted Lowrance to ask if I could download Topo maps to it as I was planning on using it for off road. They said yes, that I could use it for off road and Topo maps were available. I purchased the unit and found that the only maps available to download into the unit are through C-Maps, and they don’t have Topo maps available on line but they sent me to Cabellas. I went there and they said they have marine maps but never had Topo maps. I returned the unit.

Wouldn't turn on all the way kept passing to unplug it and plug it back in. Finally got it to come on, could not get the maps to do any navigate. Put it back in the box. I am not going to trust this for a navigation.

On second unit both just flash lowanceA lot money for blunking blue light

Poor map detail and impossible to find updated maps for unit. Hardware was good but difficulty of updates caused a return

The product never worked when I got it.Waste of time
