Fixed “Reduced Power” - 2009 Chevy Impala
Bit stiffer than original but working well and easy to install. Fixed problem where car would lose power / acceleration and message would display on dash about “Reduced Power”. This was on a 2009 Chevy Impala. Hope this helps someone else, was a tough issue to get to the root of.

Two 1/2 inch bolts a bit hard ot access.
This is my second install of this part, after taking the lower dashboard panel off, I used an extension to get to bolts.

Works great! Just as described.
Worked perfectly. Very easy to instal. I did have to cut the floorboard carpet for it to fit but I didn’t mind considering the price. I replaced the pedal on my 2010 Chevy Impala moths ago and it works great!

It works
It worked but still got code which has nothing to do with pedal . The pedal it self felt weird and felt like it sticked.I am not the only one that noticed it a mechanic that I had look at my car said it seemed off.

WORKS! (READ BELOW)
My 2010 Chevy Impala engine light turned on.. CODE: P2122: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch.I there was a notification on my dash that read something along the lines of "REDUCED ENGINE POWER / TRACTION CONTROL".This amazon purchase was by far the cheapest replacement. Should have taken 2 minutes to install, but took 5 minutes as i needed to cut a little bit of the cloth housing around where the original pedal screwed into the floor to ensure a more secure fit.Engine light is off, dash warnings are off, feels like it responds to my foot pressure even better than the OEM pedal.5/5 would recommend.

Don't buy Dorman electronic parts!
I have no problem with the seller, part as described and delivered promptly. The problem was the part. Had to replace it within three months. Had a mechanic tec do the diagnostics and the part was defective. His words "you wouldn't believe how many Dorman parts I replace". Save yourself time and money and only purchase OEM parts. Saving $10 bucks cost me $78 (part) and $105 labor.

It arrived early, It works, Its a cheaper quality part
Product arrived a daily early. Item itself looks a little cheaper quality than expected but it fits as stated and so far no serious issues. Only difference which is substantial is my old pedal had a pivot on the pedal this one was is a complete unit and when you initially push on the gas, it hesitates to react to motion of doing so. But it works.
