Camillus CHUNK⢠7.25" Folding Knife with a Glass Filled Nylon handle and 420 Steel Blade. 420 has decent edge holding capabilities and fairly easy to reshape, this steel is a good balance of the most desirable traits for knife steel. The steel is bonded with Titanium that resists rust and corrosion and is up to 3x harder than untreated steel so the blade stays sharper, longer. The handle is made of Glass Filled Nylon, a material that is used in many of our knives. We add glass-filled materials to polypropylene, ABS and other substrates in order to provide the strongest, most rigid handles. Lifetime Warranty.

NOT UK LEGAL (you cant carry this item in a public space)
A well made and sturdy pocket knife. it is great for around the house and garden. I deal for cutting cardboard boxes up for the recycling.A beautiful bearing mechanism, it opens very smoothly, .with a very sharp blade. However, be aware it is NOT LEGAL to carry this knife in a public place (U.K). The blade does conform to the law but as it is a locking knife it would be regarded as an ILLEGAL KNIFE in the eyes of the law. The punishment for carrying such an item, if convicted is ALWAYS a custodial sentence!

It has a lock!
It has a lock.It doesn't say anywhere on amazon or the packaging. The bearing really does allow it to open easily and its balanced and comfortableBut it has a lock so i can't take it out the house so is as good as worthless

That my ordered product has safely arrived!
An absolutely splendid working knife. Opens at the blink of an eye, obviously to do with the bearing system within the blade. 420 steel, nae problems with sharpening. I'm under the impression with the blade being Titanium coated/bonded even, it should hold an edge for quite some use. I guess time will tell. Very impressed with this tool! And not at all expensive. I've paid 2 or 3 times the amount I paid for the Camillus and there was no way they came anywhere near this tool, in any respect.Cheersspi

Can't get better for the price and it's actually a good knife
It's a light, (meaning good and easy to carry), but sturdy enough knife and you can't beat the price, so if lost just get another. It has a deep pocket carry clip which is what I want, (better than some of the more expensive knives like the Zero Tolerance knives which are super but a very bad pocket carry), but the clip is only fitted on one end and not reversible, (the end I don't like to carry a knife). You can use it for anything and can quickly wash it after dirty work and then simply apply a dab of oil, a quick sharpen and it's good to go again. Nice blade. Holds an edge as good as some of the more expensive knives I have and the grip is not bad for the average hand, even a gloved hand. The numpty who left a stupid 1-star review because he said it had a lock but was not stated by Amazon and therefore illegal and useless is as useless as himself. It's actually very obvious to see, but the 3rd photograph down also clearly states "liner lock". A case of looking but not seeing and not thinking. Don't blame it on Amazon! I carry it for when I'm out in the countryside or on the boat, or other legal activities, as it's the very safest option for real work with the liner lock. All in all, it's a great knife for the price.

Good knife for the money
Opens very easily with the lever and locks into place one handed. Easy to disengage the lock one handed, but mind your fingers!Finish is Ok, but not great. The blade is not very sharp and the bevels are uneven on the cutting edge, around 1.2mm on one side and maybe half a mm on the other, so will need a bit of TLC.The handle looks to be plastic with black metal liners and steel standoffs. There is a small amount of play in the locked blade, nothing major, but I suspect this is because the pivot screw is loosened off slightly so that the blade flips out easily. There are thumb nubs on both sides of the blade, but they do not feel like they are in the right place and I find it awkward to use them to flick the blade open. Not that you need to as it has the lever to do that, so why even put the nubs there in the first place?Comfort: The handle is fairly short so different grips are limited. In the main position, your forefinger is right on the locking clip and that is a little uncomfortable after a while. The pocket clip is also something that becomes uncomfortable after a while, so removing that helps. Weighting and balance are very good. There is some jimping on the spine of the blade and also on the locking clip (see above). The jimping is quite rounded and feels OK. One thing that is a little off, is that there's a choil at the back of the blade and it fits perfectly if you were to want to grip the blade further up, however, if you do this, you will probably cut your finger, unless you have very small fingers.Uses: I bought this for general stuff, including DIY. I would also think that this knife would be decent for camping, too.Operation: The one handed operation is really smooth and fluid. Really easy and great to use.Overall, very pleased with this knife, an absolute bargain.

Lives up to its name!
Really nice piece of kit, excellent value for money. Probably the first knife I've purchased in this price range that's been shaving sharp straight out of the package. Paper test, perfect, paracord pull through, perfect. The blade, although a bit shiny for my taste, is blemish free, and the gimping is smooth and well finished. Very wide, and it doesn't feel flimsy, but I've yet to use it for anything challenging. It comes with a decent sized left or right thumb stud, and a nice spur on the blade itself, all of which lead to fast, non-assisted opening. The handle is a tiny bit small for my hand, but the finish and moulding gives enough grip to keep hold of it. The pocket clip looks as if it can be switched from right to left-handed, but again, I've not tried this. I'd prefer the liner lock to be a bit more central, but it's a minor niggle.Overall, very nice!

Surprisingly good gardening knife
GARDENING? Yup, the broad blade makes it ideal for a bit of impromptu digging around roots when weeding.Solid little knife that has a beautiful flipping action - much better than many more expensive knives I have. I think it's a combination of a fairly heavy but short blade that makes it so satisfying to flip. People have been convinced it was spring assisted until I let them try it themselves. You can remove the clip if you want.
