This booked wasn't in the best shape as posted. Its seen some moisture...only difference from the book I replaced was this books pages didn't stick together. Paid like $5 tho.

Cumbersome and Poorly Written - Author's Forgot They Were Writing For An Audience
After doing AP algebra in High School, I re-learned it to teach students. My Algebra 1 book went really well, including good explanations and visual layout throughout. However, this Algebra 2 book left me frustrated and angry at almost every page, including all the Algebra 1 pages, because the explanations, descriptions, and graphic design of the book were so cumbersome, verbally awkward, and just plain poor. How does the same company and authors do such a great job with their 1990 editions, and then suck so horribly by 1993 ... ? DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK !!! Fair Warning.As a result, I skipped ahead to the 1990 Prentice Hall Trigonometry book, and everything is going well again. It's clear and to the point much like the 1990 Algebra 1 Prentice Hall book.
