received the product, smaller box than I was expecting (teach me not to read description properly) I was expecting it to be bigger-it is small, etching is not too bad, looks a bit like the Death Star, base is the worst part, a little flimsy, didn't work to start with, battery operated using watch batteries, not sure how long it will last. if I saw this in the flesh 1st I would not have bought it as it is really small, but as I have got it, I will not return it-will probably stay in the box in a cupboard for a while though-

The ball isn't attached to the base at all. There is NOTHING stopping it from slipping off. If you don't glue it in place, it will break. You can see in the picture there's a fluffy string around the base of the ball. I glued the string to the base and to the ball, because that's the only way it will stay in place. It's also very small at 5cm diameter, it drains batteries very quickly, and if you look carefully you can see that the character inside the ball is mirrored too which i assume is because of how the light reflects off the ball. Despite it's flaws though, I still love this. It is one of the most beautiful little things i've ever owned and is a PERFECT desk decoration. It would make such a cool collection to have a bunch of these.

The millennium falcon orb itself was very disappointing. Could barely see what was inside. However, the company's customer service was excellent. When I complained about the poor quality they offered a free replacement and I was allowed to keep the original. I changed my order to the Eevee orb and was much happier with this one. I'd suggest avoiding the starwars themed orbs but the Pokemon themed ones are worth the money. They're small but unique and pretty. Overall, great service, pretty good product.

Bought this as a little treat for my husband, with him working from home I wanted something nice to go on his desk and as we are Trekkies this was the perfect little addition. It is small but its cute, the etching is really clear and when the light is on, you can see the image clear on the ceiling. The ball is heavy but sits nicely on the stand, as far as I can tell it is lightly magnetic but if knocked heavily it would fall off the stand. But we love it and would gladly get another if they do other Star Trek ships.

Got this with my boyfriends starter pokemon in it since hes a pokemon nut and he absolutely adores the thing. Looks absolutely amazing though a little bit unstable on the stand. Arrived quickly and with no damage

Better than expected

Firstly I liked the product but the problem is that it takes 3 L44 watch batteries that unfortunately don't last five minutes before the leds start to dim. It would have been more sensible if the manufacturers had employed normal AAA batteries to provide power.

Have absolutely no idea why the glass globe just rests on a perfectly flat surface without so much as a tiny indent to stop it sliding off. If you put this on a bookshelf that's free to move even slightly when knocked it will come off.No timer function, so you have to remember to turn it off if you don't want to replace the batteries after each use
