Best hunting backpack!

This pack has many features and is easy on wallet for what you get!
So I wanted to replace a day pack and get something a little bigger.. this pack fits the bill. I appreciate the fact that it can collapse so thin but when you need to open it up it really allows for a load. The extra straps that all connect makes pack outs nice becouse you are able to keep everything tight. I do wish they would add the adjustment for height like they have on the xl model but a hicked for a weekend antler hunting and the mainbeam never gave me issues. I appreciate the 2800 cu size but will be bringing my bigger pack for Elk most likely bit anything else I recommend thos pack.. especially as a bowhunter.

Nice pack but smaller than anticipated
Nice pack but smaller than anticipated. Can barely get jacket in it. Being narrow is an asset on maneuverability but suffer in packability. I really like the ties all over the bag and pocket placement. Well made bag

Quality western hunting pack at a budget price
This is an awesome pack for a very good price. I had heard about this company from a friend who had a relative working there and since they were local (Salt Lake City) I decided to give it a try. The pack was shipped directly from the manufacturer and took a bit longer than I expected. Honestly I don't think they keep that many on hand being a small company. Either way, I have been using this for several months now on multiple hunting and scouting trips. It is more than I could have hoped for considering that hunting packs of this size start at around $250 and go much higher. There is ample inside room in the main compartment with a a few pockets to keep smaller items organized. If you were creative you could use this pack for an overnight or even weekend backcountry trip. Hydration bladder pocket as well. Well padded straps that hold the loads nicely. There are two hip belt pockets that are actually usable with the pack on. I'm a big guy at 230 lbs and I can easily reach these pockets . Great for range finder or gps or those kind of things. For a smaller waisted person these pockets will be even better. There is a pull out game hauling system that I have not been able to use yet but I've tested it carrying other gear and will work well hauling elk quarters. Honestly the only negative I can think of is they my back gets pretty warm with this pack. Maybe I'm just used to my old Badlands ultra day pack that had a ton of ventilation but was horrible at carrying any sort of real weight. This is really an incredible pack for an unbelievable price. Most people will not be disappointed. The manufacturing quality seems to be quite good so we'll see how things hold up.
