This one does not. This one does not have the notes so it is good for reading straight through. There is a version with the notes. I like to read different versions and this one was well done. The English flows easily and helps when reading long sections. The translators' took care when translating God's Word. Some passages come out clearer in this version because of the updated (1995) English. Reading without verse numbers really helps with my ability to read and understand with that artificial breaks affecting me. Now I just wish it was available this way in my Logos Bible software. I buy a good deal of kindle books. I really resent the limitations on how I can use what I have purchased. Kindle, Apple & Logos should really come together in the interest of their customer's needs. I should be able to make purchases in my amazon apps on my Ipad. I should be able to easily import my kindle books into logos library to benefit from the tools there. I buy content from all 3, but it feels like they are working against me.
