The customer service we received from the seller was excellent when we contacted them for replacement bottle brushes (since we use the cleaning tool so often). They were helpful, polite and quick. **Q: Are the silicone seals safe for high proof ethanol, in the 65% range (~130-150 proof)?**
A: I would say no, as most silicone is only conditionally resistant to alcohols.  

I believe temperature and concentration are the determining factors, with temperature being most important.  If you're doing home distillates, any amount of fore shots leaking into the heads and hearts will eat at the seal very quickly.

**Q: What is the actual height of the bottle before putting the lid on it?**
A: 10 3/4 inches

**Q: Is the outside of the bottle smooth or indented?**
A: It’s smooth and the bottles are really nice

**Q: Will these bottles work with soda stream carbonator without attachmet?**
A: Hi please check the size, the 33fl oz might too tall to fit, its 12" bottle height without the cap. For the 16fl oz the height is 10 3/8". A customer mentioned that the Sodastream bubbles still go away.
