You'll need to hold the led in place for at least 6 minutes and then let the glue dry completely. I used the glue to reattach a rearview mirror support slug to a windshield. I held the slug in place for 6 minutes and then let it dry overnight before I attached the rearview mirror to it. The instructions on the package will explain this. Also, be aware that you will NEVER be able to remove the led without ripping out the carpet. **Q: Will this bond silver (silverware) together for craft projects?** A: It will bond almost anything that is clean and free of dirt and oils. However it is not a structural adhesive so if your silverware is going to be subject to twisting or bending once glued it will eventually give up. If you need more strength and can work with a much slower cure time regular JB Weld is much stronger but it takes hours to cure so proper clamping is required. **Q: How long before it expires in tubes ?** A: Normally I use all of a tube when its open.
