Review: Best substitute for fresh tomatoes in savory recipes. - These are amazing canned tomatoes. The stores I normally get them at no longer carry them. So glad I can get a small case at a time here. They are delicious in any savory recipe (stews, ratatouille, etc ), that calls for fresh tomatoes when you don't happen to have any, or canned tomatoes as well. They hold up to cooking and have good flavor.
Review: Excellent Quality - Arrived in Perfect Condition - July 2022 - Wonderful, delicious product that arrived in perfect condition. I am so grateful I found these on desertcart after my local grocery stores stopped selling them. I had been to multiple stores looking for these (including Whole Foods!) and I wasted all that time and expensive gas driving around. To all those good people who were understandably disappointed when they received dented/damaged cans they had to throw away - please order these beauties by the case, as I did. There are 12 cans snugly packed in protective bubble wrap in a sturdy box designed especially for this product. It’s a good tight fit. The cost for a case of 12 through desertcart is less than what my local groceries sold it for when they carried it. And with desertcart Prime this product was brought directly to my door. When you buy one or two cans the employee responsible for packing has to hunt around for something to put them in and may not select an appropriate container or cushioning. Buying on desertcart for 15+ years has taught me quite a bit, often the hard way. These shelf-stable products have a 14-month window by which they need to be consumed and will be used up long before then. An excellent purchase.
