**Q: currently have gen4 modem, doesnt work with my voip system. will this modem work?**

**Q: Is this a valid replacement for a Hughes HT1000 modem?**
A: No it is not. On most sat systems the modem is part of the tria/dish/modem combo. In my experience you need to replace the part with an exact replacement. No mix and match allowed. Also when you find the replacement modem it will have to be reactivated for your system.

**Q: is this the current Hughesnet modem?**
A: Sucks
