Nice lids for "going green" with coffee and tea
I am a big fan of canning jars -- Mason, Ball, Kerr. I make a big, ol' wide-mouthed mason jar of coffee and one of tea every morning and have done so for years. Up until now, I've used the standard screw-on tops which are not always convenient -- for example, if you're driving in a car. These flip-up lids are very nice. The flip top stays back so it doesn't fall on your nose when you are drinking, and they also have a hook so you can store or hold the jar by the hook rather than having to clutch the bottle. I bought the light-gray tops and like the uniformity of color.I plan to buy another set of three to use, not for drinking but for pouring purposes -- I plan to put the cooking salt in a small, wide-mouthed jar with one of these lids to make things less complicated with salt in the kitchen. Also, I plan to use one of these tops for liquid soap in the kitchen and bathroom. To me, the flip lids are more convenient than the little soap pumps. The only thing that isn't magical about these lids is that you have to be very careful when you put them on your jars. If they're not just right and very tight, they'll leak.I bought a more expensive set from another manufacturer, and they seal better, but they were all different colors [you don't have a choice of what colors you can get] and they did not have the little gripping hook.Overall, I'm pleased with these lids -- but please be careful when you're using them for drinking purposes. Double check to make sure they're well sealed before you drink from them.

Really love these
I use my Mason jars for lots of things, including storing excess smoothies when I make a whole blender full. When using the stored portion, I have to shake up the quart jar and the plastic caps tended to leak so I bought some liners, and then saw these which have liners built in (although they can be removed for washing if need be). They don't leak plus have the nice pouring spout. Works great for the thick smoothies as well as home squeezed orange or grapefruit juice when I do a whole bag and have a couple of jars full in the fridge.

Perfect
I love it. Finely someone make this cool lids :) I hated to use plastic protein shakes bottles every day. I did even try using same concepts by using my lids on my Mason jar’s and could not find the way too make it with good seal. This is what I need it. Just extra info. Make sure the wisher is seating in right place to have good seal.UPDATE :Great customer service. i order 5 boxes and just last order of 2 order two of the item was issue with the holder area, so i asked them to replace it and i send 2 single leads back and you guys know its 3 inside it. But did not want to replace the one that was okay and waist stuff. I got my return so fast and they send me a box which there was 3 leads. Thank you for good customer service :)

TERRIBLE - DON'T BUY !!!!!
TERRIBLE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CLOTHES... I wrote the below review a few weeks ago and now I am taking the time to write an update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These leak and I have ruined more shirts, towels, etc. My patients have had it with these. Amazon should not sell these. I plan on putting them in a zip lock and returning them after really trying hard to use them. They also are very hard to unscrew once they are on (and obviously not air tight). Terrible design. I have been purchasing from Amazon faithfully for many, many years and have never written a bad review. So...this must be bad for me to take the time out of my day to write this in order for others to not waste their money or time.Although I will continue to use them, I’m not completely thrilled. It takes a few turns on the jar if not completely perfect. I drink cold brewed ice coffee, and will NOT sip on these! I have ruined a few shirts! Instead, I use a SS straw. I would not purchase again.

Perfect!
We had been using flip top lids(another brand) on our 1/2 gallon jars for years so I knew I liked the concept. We use jars rather than cups to drink from and I wanted a way to turn my kids drinking jars into water bottles. I bought them each one of these and a pretty silicone sleeve and they’re a perfect pair!! No leaks, comfortable to drink from and they wash up easily.

No seal, can't remove
Of course I waited until a week after the return period.... These things started off awesome, and then I hate them. Ugh. They don't seal unless you screw them on so tightly you can't get them off. Even then I had a leak this morning. The IDEA of them is so great. If I can ever get them off my mason jars (three are currently trapped!!!!), I would like to try using other gaskets than the ones they came with. I couldn't get those out easily, but now that I know they are worthless as they are, I will hack away and get them out. The lid works great, it's the seal at the top of the mason jars. And I'm using the wide mouth and regular, both leak!!!

A must have for mason jar lovers.
Generally a great product, although there are some considerations. One is, that it needs to be secured tightly to be leakproof and as a result, removal needs gorilla strength. Also, one split likely due to this (as seen in picture). I am surprised it did this as these lids are actually made of a very strong durable material. The little loop handle is very strong and handy and otherwise it is a very comfortable and well designed product. I use it with my morning coffee and it imparts no smell or flavor, is very comfortable on the lips, and the cap seals extraordinarily well. Hand washing is a breeze. I would give it 5 stars if the lid did not split after such a short period of use.
