Review: Talentcell Rechargeable 12V 6000mAh/5V 12000mAh DC Output Lithium ion Battery Pack - This rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack is useful for powering small electronics that require either 12V DC or 5V USB output. The dual-output design makes it flexible for different devices, and switching between ports is straightforward. I used it with low-power equipment and it delivered stable output without random shutoffs. The battery pack feels solid and well-built for its size. It holds a charge reliably and recharges in a reasonable amount of time. The included ports are convenient for portable setups where wall power isn’t available, such as temporary workstations or mobile projects. Capacity is suitable for moderate run times depending on the device’s power draw. It’s not meant for high-drain equipment, but for routers, small monitors, cameras, or similar electronics, it performs as expected and is easy to integrate into a portable setup.
Review: A good unit for a decent price. - This was exactly as described and has worked very well for the last month. It was bought as a power supply for a portable stereo using a 12 v car receiver. It runs for several hours on a charge and takes several hours to recharge but I have not timed that exactly. It does not get warm and is way less money than most battery packs of a similar capacity. My only complaint and it is a small one, is that you must unplug the 12 volt output socket to put in the charging cord. It also requires you to know that the power switch must be on in order to charge the unit. Even if off, the indicator lights come on, giving you the impression something is happening. So, be sure you read the instructions before using it. Although it states it will put out 5v usb, I do not think I would have bought this unit for a 5v usb battery pack. There are similar packs of similar capacity that are much cheaper. However there were few for 12 v output. So it fills the bill very well and is much lighter and cheaper than an equivalent lead-acid 12 v battery. ***This is an update. I have had it for 10 months now and I use it for a few hours every weekend to power a portable USB speaker. It is still going strong and has been very reliable. Given that there are basically no other comparable units I am very happy with this unit. New update: I have had this unit for over 8 years and it is still running well. No failures, no problems except it takes a shorter time to deplete the charge. But for an 8 year old pack, it is doing really well. in fact, just because it is still working, I'm adding a star.

**Q: Can I use car cigaret socket to charge this battery pack?**
A: Please Note - you cannot just plug it into a cigarette lighter to charge the battery pack. It requires a regulated 12.60 volt power supply.  If you exceed this voltage you WILL damage the battery pack.  Lithium-ion ICR cells do not tolerate over voltage charging above 4.2 volts per cell and will overheat and vent. The cells in these battery packs are not IC protected cells.  These battery packs consist of 6 Samsung ICR1860 cells in a parallel series configuration and they do work great but To charge it from your vehicle or any other source you will need a 12.60 volt regulated output power supply.  Caution- Warning..... Please be careful!  I work with lithium-ion battery packs all the time. Under certain conditions you can create a fire so be careful!  As an additional note- this pack is falsely advertised as a 6000mah pack - it is actually a 5400mah pack as the cells are Samsung ICR18650- 2700mah cells in parallel.

Initially I had some concern, since it was already partially charged. My concern came from attempting to charge the Talentcell seemed it was not charging. I left it plugged in and later on it became fully charged. I worked perfectly for my need and maintained the charge. Just wanted to give anyone else a heads up.
