The blue is a dark blue that pairs well with black or grey and is lightweight yet offers ample protection for the Kindle.I took off two stars because the seller tried to contact me to push for a review, and I think this is inappropriate behavior. If I want to leave a review, I will decide to do so, not do it because someone is trying to convince me they should get 5-stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a really nice cover. *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2018* I love that my Kindle is protected, the case has a thick cover that will hopefully keep me from kneeling on it while getting into bed and damaging the screen ( that's what I did to my former, unprotected kindle). I like the way the Kindle is held in the case, it snaps into the frame, doesn't have those straps that go across the corners of the Kindle. I like that the case has magnets to hold it closed. I like that it has all the correct cutouts for the page turn buttons and is nice and snug.It is kinda difficult for me to hold with the cover open like I would a book (holding it in one hand). My finger tends to hit the arrow buttons and accidentally change chapters. Easily solved by folding the cover back. That's the only gripe, minor really.
