On the other hand, the quality of the item was less than I expected. First, it wouldn't go into the pin hole because there were burrs on the end of the outer tube. Once that (lack of) quality item was taken care of, I was able to insert the tool into the socket...with great difficulty! The extractor worked smoothly and I was able to remove the pin from the body of the socket. However, I was having difficulty extricating the tool from the hole and the handle pulled off! That shouldn't have happened. After replacing the handle, I used pliers to remove the tube, but quickly found that the tube was easily crushed/dented. The tubing is probably steel, but a little more hardening of the metal or a slight increase in the thickness of the metal might give it the necessary strength for this not to happen. Personally, I think hardening of the tube would do the job cheaply.
