Thus, I've reduced my rating to three stars. The exact same product with more complete instructions would have rated 5-stars.I watched the video provided by the vendor, and followed the printed instructions very carefully. I was successful installing the battery, and the phone seems to be working well. My main objection is that there was NO INFORMATION provided regarding the gasket seal between the screen and the back of the phone. The vendor provides a link to instructional video (URL prohibited. Sorry), which they urge you to watch... However, at the point in the video (at 1 min; 08 sec), where they show how to lift off the screen, they neither show, nor mention, that there is gasket sealing material that is holding the two halves together, which cannot be reused once broken. It is this seal that makes it difficult to remove the screen. The video makes it appear deceptively easy to just pull the two halves apart. In reality. It takes some sustained (but gentle) force to be applied, that I was not expecting.When I pulled the phone open, there were strands of two different colors of gasket materials--both black and white--that were adhering to both the screen and the back of the phone. The strands that were still connected were stretched almost to breaking. Many strands were broken, and were either hanging from the screen, or had fallen onto the back of the phone. At this point, I was very confused, and didn't know what to do, as there had been no mention of this.I felt I would not be able to reseal the phone properly with the gasket in the condition that is was, so I pulled off most of the residual material with a tweezers. I did leave some portions of it attached, as I hoped it would help the phone to seal better.If you know what to search for (on Google, or whatever), you can easily find specific detailed information about this gasket on the internet. There is even a vendor who sells replacement gaskets. (URL Prohibited.) However, the present battery kit did NOT come with a replacement gasket. I am GUESSING that replacing the gasket would add considerably to the cost, and would make User-installation much more difficult, so I can UNDERSTAND why the vendor chose not to include it. But I'm just guessing.I ASSUME that this gasket is intended by Apple both to maintain the integrity of the seal, as well as to reduce the amount of moisture that can get inside. I ASSUME that once this gasket has been broken, it will no longer fulfill this function to the same degree. I ASSUME (or rather, I HOPE) that this will not be a major problem; however, I ASSUME I will have to take GREATER CARE about keeping the phone dry... (e.g. raindrops, water sprinkler, etc.)MOST IMPORTANT: I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE WONDERING AND GUESSING ABOUT THESE QUESTIONS. This all should have been explained. But I am surprised that this battery give my iPhone 6s a new battery life. My old original battery only last for half day or less and I have to charge it in afternoon before replacing this high capacity battery, even though I charged it full at night and left home it is 100% level. But it can easily last me over one day or longer for medium use, Facebook, YouTube, phone call, text and e-mails etc., it still have 35% power after one day, last a lot longer than original standard battery.It is the best battery I have bought on Amazon, highly recommend it.
