Fast forward several years and he is now an older dog with heart problems and needs to go out every couple of hours. In the early morning hours when we were both in deep sleep and didn’t hear him up he decided it would be ok to pee in one spot in the house. We have a male rescue pup who insists on peeing only on poles, bushes, brick walls... whatever it is, it has to be sticking up, lol. Also when he lnlws we are leaving, he will hild his pee and pee in the house. Wirh regular pee pads, he would pee off the side of almost every time, or ignore the pee pad altogether and find a chair/furniture leg to pee on. These have solved our issue!!
