It takes catching the pinchweld to break a new line and I've gone about 10 to 15 (maybe 20) cuts out of the same line before breakage due to wear and tear. It's thicker than other string I've used so it doesn't "slice" as easily as thinner cord, making the cut a little tougher but it makes up for the extra effort in the fact that I'm not popping my string every three installs.
