Didn't use the suggested Tuya app, so used the Smart Life app instead as it works better with IFTTT. We did an unboxing and setup video on our YouTube channel (DADvinci). Hope it's useful... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good *by B***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2019* i have a few of them i think that they are very good i have them for my outside lights my blanket my bedside lamb. and i have fitted one in my cupboard down stairs so when my dog gets down i can tell Alexa off or on save's you a lot of time plus if you have out side lights stick them on a plug and that's you no more running about turning things off and on I've got friends to get them and they won't go past them only thing is you must be patient when setting these up as if like me can lose the plot but i persevered I'm disabled so it was a bit difficult for me to keep un plugin in and out so they do take a bit of time but once you do it and download the app and the good thing is that you can do it all from your phone or if you have echo dot that's all you need so down load the application then do one at a time and your all set up you will not be disappointed with these just remember that they will NOT work on 5G must be 4G so if you're network is on 5g switch it to 4g before you start or you will end up not getting them to pair up hope this helps you ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works, but is annoying to set up *by T***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 April 2019* On the plus side, the plug is robust. Setting up this product is, however, difficult. Problem 1: Asks to set up "plug" in the Tuya app - there is no plug - it's called another name. Problem 2: my WiFi broadcasts at 2.4 and 5 - it sees the 5, and won't connect AT ALL!?!? I had to go into my router and disable broadcasting at 5. This is a little negligent on the engineers of this device. Problem 3: Tricky to set up the button on the plug to be ready for pairing with WiFi. Bit flakey, would sometimes turn itself off after 15 seconds. I was going to return item until I figured all this out. Problem 4: I assumed the USB on/off would also be smartly controlled. No. It just works as a USB power point all the time. Very poor, missed opportunity.
