## Description

DELETER manga ink black 4 is a super black ink for dip pen and brush. This versatile, marker & water proof extra black ink works great with both Watercolor and markers. Extra dark drawing ink flows evenly with no feathering. Once the ink dries, it is resistant to coming off from erasing. The darkest, solid black ink is also great for digital coloring as it scans the black lines very cleanly so you can save on editing time. This comic ink dries with a matte finish and will easily cover over Pencil lines. High quality, super black color won't fade and gives a rich dimension to your artwork and Illustration. Shake well before use, and clean your nib pens and brushes after each use. Made in Japan.

Review: Noir c'est noir, il y a plein d'espoir - Habitué à utiliser le même matériel pour l'encre de chine depuis des années (pointe atome de BIC et encre noire Conté) j'ai décidé de changer récemment... et cette encre est la meilleure que j'ai eu l'occasion de travailler. D'un noir intense et homogène, qui sèche ni trop vite, ni trop lentement. Parfaite. On peut regretter que le flacon ne soit pas aussi ergonomique que l'encre ZIG Kuretake (qui est aussi une très bonne encore), mais son extrême qualité fait oublier tout le reste.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will this work in fountain pens?**
A: In my experience no.  It clogs the pen easily.  You can easily wash it off with warm water and it will peel like a skin but I have had zero luck when it comes to fountain pens and this ink.

**Q: If I erase will it smear**
A: I'm my experience, no, but I do a lot of inking on blue line or with a light pad. When I do ink over pencils I tend to wait at least ten minutes before erasing. If you want an ink that is sure to not smear when erased, I think the DELETER black no. 2 is the one you want.

**Q: Can this ink do ink washes?**
A: Yes, it's as good if not better than any other India ink.

**Q: What is everyone using to apply it?  This is cheaper than ones with applicators.  A small brush maybe?  Recommendations?**
A: Yeah a small brush works, on its own it's too thick to use with anything else but you can dilute it with water in order to use it with pen nibs or as fade effect on watercolor as well, bare in mind this is a VERY white tone so if the paper you're using is yellowish it will look a bit out of place

Great ink, super dark, can get a little less matte when applied with a brush but otherwise it's very matte. Dries pretty quick and was very waterproof. Didn't work great with a glass dip pen, I suspect due to it drying too quickly, but it worked great with a regular nib. Washes off the pen super easily, not so much my had where I splashed it taking off the seal while opening. Took a couple tries to scrub it off but it did come off eventually.
