The US RDA for magnesium is 400 mg. This is the only supplement I have found that comes in a 200mg version so I only need to take two a day. The pills are not huge and are easy to swallow capsules and I use them to compliment the turmeric I take for inflammation due to a variety of illnesses. My pain is substantially reduced when I take these supplements. Not sure what others are talking about when they complain of loose stool. This magnesium is simply not designed to cause or prevent loose bowels. Perhaps they see magnesium, and think of Milk of Magnesia which is Magnesium Hydroxide. This is Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate and a totally different thing.
