Review: Works really well. Cuts packages not skin. - Best box opener! The magnet keeps it on my fridge so I don't loose it, which I would do! It fits well in my hand and is comfortable to hold. The cutting edge doesn't cut skin but it will cut right thru tape, cardboard, plastic wrapping and the juice box inside so be careful. This is definitely worth the purchase. The only negative is that the lock doesn't work. I have to hold the blade slider in the out position, but that's not difficult at all so I don't mind.
Review: Handy little tool - Update: I have these for a few years now and they all still work great! Have given several as gifts and everybody loves them. A handy little tool for opening packages. Unlike a bigger box cutter or scissors. it's --unobtrusive so I can leave it on a table near the front door.; --has a short blade, so I don't have to worry about damaging a package's content; --has a blade that retracts automatically when I finish my cut and doesn't easily cut skin. I find it works well on packing tape. stiff plastic packaging and card stock. Denser or heavier cardboard requires two or more passes and it doesn't work as well on softer plastic packaging that doesn't stay taut once cut like that around rolls toilet paper. Good for average residential/office use. Since the blade doesn't lock in place, it might not be the best choice for someone who spends a lot of time opening packages.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you only press the button with your thumb when holding it in your right hand? Or is there another slider on the other side for lefties?**
A: Only one slider on one side but it works using your left hand as it does using your right hand. You slide bar with finger instead of thumb and thumb presses against back side of razor knife.

**Q: Buy x1=$6 or x12=$94. Is this a byproduct of that new math my kids are learning in public school?**
A: Tooo funny, thank you for the laughs!!

**Q: How can it be called left handed when the slide won’t work left handed?**
A: The Slice Manual Mini Cutter is ambidextrous, all tools arrive right handed, however for left handed users, you need to take the casing apart, switch the blade around and reattach the casing; this allows the tool to be used for left handed people. // TEAM SLICE // Miami, Florida

**Q: Can it cut cloth?**
A: Yes it can cut cloth.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for opening amazon deliveries

A quick test on a plastic blister pack makes me question if this is actually as sharp as a metal blade, however it could also be due to its smaller size making it hard to wield with force. But I didn't knock it any stars for that, because where this excels is quick light cuts like slicing the tape off packages. The magnetic backing means I can keep it handy slapped on the fridge, the small blade is just right to preserve the contents, and the spring loaded retraction makes the whole process of cutting and then safely storing feel streamlined and safe. I still have a traditional metal box cutter in the drawer for any big jobs, but 99% of the time now I'm reaching for this.
