This pillow offers great neck support, and doesn't compact like many other pillow types would. I have issues with night sweats, when using artificial materials, so having organic wool has been wonderful. No sweats and it keeps a nice even temperature. This is my first wool bed product (I own a lot of wool clothing), and it won't be my last. It has a slight smell, but I actually like it... it reminds me it's natural (and it's not strong). It is soft but supportive—doesn’t require nights of “breaking it in”. It doesn’t shift like synthetic fill pillows do. The case alone that it comes in is thick and soft super high quality cotton. My husband slept better the first night on it that’s he has slept in months I will be slowly replacing our whole family’s pillows to these. I also have and love my buckwheat pillow (a nice down alternative).
