As an avid swimmer, I've gone through my fair share of swim caps, but this one stands out for all the right reasons. First and foremost, the fit is fantastic. It snugly hugs my head without feeling too tight or constricting, allowing me to focus solely on my strokes without any distractions. The material is incredibly comfortable, it doesn't pull on my hair or irritate my scalp like some other caps I've tried in the past. Moreover, the Finis Swim Cap is incredibly durable. I've been using it for several weeks now, and it still looks and feels brand new. The high-quality construction means I don't have to worry about it tearing or wearing out prematurely. One of the standout features of this swim cap is its hydrodynamic design. It truly helps streamline my movements in the water, allowing me to glide effortlessly through each lap. Plus, the vibrant color options add a fun pop to my swimming attire! Overall, I highly recommend the Finis Swim Cap to anyone in need of a reliable, comfortable, and performance-enhancing swim cap. It's a game-changer for serious swimmers like myself! Review: Wonderful, roomy swim cap! - I prefer lycra/spandex caps because they are easy to get on and off. It is made out of material similar to what your swim suit is made out of. This cap is comfortable fits my somewhat large head. This cap does the job of keeping my hair out of my face while swimming and keeps the rubber from my goggles/mask from pulling my hair. I wore this cap about 3-4 times a week over the past 4 months, swimming/snorkeling in the ocean and occasionally in a swimming pool. It has held up beautifully, not faded or stretched out. I rinse it with fresh water after each swim. I love it and the added security of being more visible when I am swimming in the ocean. ## Features - Spandex Swim Cap: The soft spandex material of this swimming cap ensures comfortable wear for extended swim sessions - Secure Swimming Cap: The plastic edge of this swim cap provides a secure fit around the base of the cap, keeping hair pulled away from the face and neck - Universal Fit: One size fits most, making the FINIS Spandex Swim Cap an excellent swimming cap for women and men - Swim Gear: A must-have piece of swim gear that ensures a hassle-free swimming experience and protects hair from chlorine damage - About FINIS: Our mission is to simplify swimming through innovation, high-quality products, and a commitment to education ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0027M90G4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #159,874 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #342 in Swimming Caps | | Brand | FINIS | | Brand Name | FINIS | | Color | Solid Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 439 Reviews | | Fit Type | One Size | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00616323351301, 00796793773695 | | Included Components | Cap | | Item Type Name | Spandex Swim Cap Black | | Item Weight | 0.02 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | FINIS | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3.25.012.101 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 3.25.012.101 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Size | One Size | | Target Audience | Swimmers | | UPC | 796793773695 616323351301 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Warranty Description | Limited | ## Product Details - **Size:** One Size - **Color:** Solid Black - **Material:** Plastic - **Brand:** FINIS - **Target Audience:** Swimmers ## Images ![FINIS Spandex Cap - Swimming Cap for Women and Men - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FoPs5dcIL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: does it keep your hair dry?** A: No **Q: how long does the headband elastic last before it get's all loosey-goosey?** A: My 7 year old has been using it for a year for swim lessons, and it is still fine after almost a year. I rinse it out with cold water and let it dry. **Q: Anyone use it scuba diving?** A: Yes, I use it while scuba diving. It is not waterproof, but keeps my hair out of my face. As a side note, air can get trapped inside as you descend, so I ended up cutting a couple of small slits in the top to let the air escape. **Q: For those of you who have used this while diving. Since the cap covers most of your forehead, does it interfere with a good seal with your goggles?** A: No, your goggles go over your eyes. The swim cap covers your forehead, if your swim cap is going over your forehead and preventing a good seal with your eyes your swim cap is either to big or you have it pulled too far down. Either way, if your having issues with getting a good seal while using a swim cap try slightly smaller goggles or smaller swim cap. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Lap Swimming Essential *by B***M on April 27, 2024* I recently purchased the Finis Swim Cap and I couldn't be happier with my choice! It's a tad too small so I can see it slipping off if you don't have a big head. Definitely prefer it over the latex ones- it is a killer to put on those latex rubbery swim caps because it is too tight and each time you do I'm sure you've all felt not just a tug on each of your strands of hair, but it feels like you are being descalped. Just kidding, I wouldn't say it is that bad, but it is not the best feeling. This cap is good ## Frequently Bought Together - Finis Spandex Cap - Swimming Cap for Women and Men - FINIS Original Center-Mount Swimmer's Snorkel - For Lap Swimming & Swim Training - Snorkel with Purge Valve - Yellow - Adult - FINIS Agility Paddles Floating - High-Quality Swim Paddles for Lap Swimming - Swim Gear for Beginners to Triathlon Athletes - Pool and Swimming Accessories to Improve Speed and Form --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/948026-finis-spandex-cap-swimming-cap-for-women-and-men](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/948026-finis-spandex-cap-swimming-cap-for-women-and-men) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
