They're a little tight on me, but that's not a bad thing, and they're a tad bulky at first but you get used to this quickly enough. The important thing is that they work. They stay on fairly well, with the occasional need to twist them back into position. They are only padded on one side (the outside of the forearm), but that's perfect for our uses. Finally we can practice repetitive 360 knife defences without having to wear long sleeves for a week afterwards to hide the bruises!
