This organizer is shaped like a messenger bag on a smaller scale (roughly 8"L x 6.5"W x 3.5"D when full). I purchased this exact Derek Alexander organizer in taupe (brown), years ago while on vacation. I decided to purchase a replacement through Amazon since the original is starting to show some minor cosmetic wear. I also purchased a black organizer through Amazon for special occasions. The size is right for basic items (wallet, coins, pen, paper, lip balm, travel Tylenol, and keys) and can be organized easily into their compartments. The adjustable strap is made with a seatbelt type of material. The inner liner and outer shell are made with durable fabrics for normal wear. The zippers in my years-old-original remain strong and reliable. The open, front flap (or pocket) is convenient for slipping an errand list in-and-out next to the pen compartment when on the go. The delivery came a tad sooner than expected. All pros, no cons. Very pleased!

I got this bag for an extended trip overseas and although it is super cute, it is very slim and if you like to shove everything in your bag that you might need (camera, cell phone, lip gloss, wallet, etc) then this bag may not accomodate the bulk.  If you are a light packer, it's perfect with lots of compartments and two areas that zip shut.  It's a great bag!
