They are legitimately thermal, so if you can in the market for a pair of tights for say, cold weather sports, or just undergarment for winter in general, these are perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding product, worth every penny spent. *by S***Y on November 24, 2015* I'm starting off by giving this five stars as I have nothing negative to say. These cold weather, insulated tights are extremely comfortable. They fit perfect, with a far better fit than their SKINS heat gear (uninsulated) version, which have a waist band far tighter than needed. The quality is outstanding and is what I've come to expect from Skins products. They certainly don't disappoint, and are only beat out by the even more expensive 2XU brand. These SKINS cold weather tights are far superior to those of the Sub Sports brand, which have a waist that's so high that it meets my mid chest area. Although these are considerably more expensive, I'd still rather order another pair than purchase another pair of the far cheaper Sub Sports. I like them that much. However, please don't believe the ridiculous claims that you can go snow skiing with just an insulated pair of tights for your legs. That is, unless you were born in an igloo. They're good for weather down into the forties, but anything colder and you'll need to layer over the top of these, as these fit like a second skin. But they are compression tights afterall, so anything looser and they're simply way to big. They're meant to fit tight as possible while still being comfortable. If you've not worn tight before, its never too late to start. Tights were designed by men for men afterall, not women. They highjacked them from us, then created a stigma that drove men away from them. Well, its time we take them back, as they're about the most comfortable garmet one can put on their legs and not get arrested. And that's WITHOUT taking into account the benefits associated with them. While the scientific jury might still be out, I can clearly state that they work extremely well for me. In fact, they work so well that I wear them on a daily basis, with shorts in the summer or as an undergarment in the winter. But with these, I'll skip the over pants, as these are thick enough to eliminate modesty issues as long as the temperatures are at least between 45-70. Warmer and I'll switch to heat gear tights, colder and these become an underlayment garment. I expect that these will last for years if cared for properly. I initially started wearing tights as a medication free means to deal with my perpensity to get deep vein bloodclots as a side effect of another medication. They've done well enough that I don't require a blood thinner (best to ask your doctor FIRST). But I was sold when they also eliminated the typical sore muscles I'd get after a hard workout at the gym. They may be rather expensive, but when the benefits are factored in, they start getting cheaper and cheaper. But once you try on a pair and realize just how unrestricted your legs are, coupled with a comfort that no other garment can match, they become not only dirt cheap, but you'll be budgeting every month to expand your wardrobe with additional pairs until you have enough to get through between washes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very warm! *by J***H on November 7, 2016* Excellent! Very soft, very warm, and very comfortable. As with Skins half-tights and the regular compression tights, they sit somewhat lower on the waist than other brands like Under Armour, which come up too high for my liking.
