Just one is a cooperative party game in which you play together to discover as many mystery words as possible. Find the best clue to help your teammate. Be unique, as all identical clues will be Cancelled!

Review: Great for a group, easy to learn, quick to play. - Great game for a group. Can adjust how many cards are played to make the game longer or shorter. Our family loved this. It was fast to play, easy to stop if needed, and we loved trying to think up out side the box clues. Basic game play: the guesser will draw a card then leaves or covers their eyes and a word is chosen that needs to be guesses. The rest of the players write down one word that they think will get the guesser to know the answer. The players will share their One Word with each other first and if anyone repeats a word someone else wrote those answers are disqualified. Then the guesser gets to see all remaining words to hopefully guess the correct answer. There is no real "winner" since you're all working together to get someone to guess an answer. This is a good change of pace if you have people who are highly competitive. Pieces include cards with words, dry erase markers and plastic plates to write answers on.

Here is how it plays. One person (the active player) chooses a card without looking at it, shows it to everyone else and chooses a number between 1-5. Everyone else writes a one word clue to help the active player guess the word. But before, the active player looks at the clues, all the clue givers compare their one word clues. Any duplicated clues cannot be shown to the active player. The active player is then shown the unique clues (Just 1) and makes a guess on what the mystery word is. If the active player is write, the whole team gains a point. You are trying to get as many points as possible out of 13 cards. Fun game. Will eventually need an expansion set to provide more cards, which should be fairly inexpensive. However, this base set provides a lot of fun and replay-ability.

**Q: what is the difference between the two different versions that are both listed on Amazon by Repos?**
A: Doesn't seem to be any difference.  The cheaper version is newer. I can't speak for the material,but I looks fine in the pictures.

**Q: Can this be played on Zoom?**
A: Yep, it's one of my favorites since only one person needs the game. Everyone else can just use scratch paper.  I've played it in a group of 4 all the way up to a group of 11 on Zoom and it's worked well.

**Q: Can you play this game with more than 7 people?**
A: In theory you could play it with any number, but the game only includes 6 whiteboards. You could always have the player whose turn it is pass their whiteboard, since they don’t technically need it during their turn. 

In short, you could definitely make it work with 7.

**Q: How get replacement dry erase markers?**
A: Just order some dry erase markers with erasers off of amazon.

This is a fun and easy game. Everyone is on the same team. Comes with enough for 8 people to play, but you could easily buy two copies and play up to 16 people. Here is how it plays. One person (the active player) chooses a card without looking at it, shows it to everyone else and chooses a number between 1-5. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Party Game! Always a hit at game night.

This is a fantastic mixed group party game. I'm not really sure why people think it's too easy but maybe we just play it differently. Since it's supposed to be a max of 7 we actually do teams and the first team to 7 wins. For groups it works out really, really well to split it up by teams (I'd recommend 4 to 6 per team). We just rotate around the team on who gets to guess next and it always ends up lasting at least half an hour, sometimes longer. It's been such a success that at least half the people who have played have gone out and purchased it for themselves. For rule modification, and I think this works out much better, just rotate around who gets to be the guesser. I'm not sure why some folks thinks it's easy because some of these words are nearly impossible to figure out - examples being "doping" and "corner" - try to think of one word clues for those! So, highly, highly recommend!
