I took to double knotting them it was such a nuisance. I decided to try these out a year or so ago. They've held up perfectly, offer a great fit and have not stretched that they need any adjustment. Plus, I can just slip my sneakers on. I like a tight fit so that my heel doesn't slide out and these allow a perfect snug fit of the shoe without compromise.
