These have a nice spray pattern that covers the nearby turf just as well as the distant turf area. The old RB rotors were loud and spun too fast. The old rotors did not have check valves so the water always drained at the end of the cycle. This wasted water and took longer to start up because the line had to fill up with water every time the system came on.
