I got these based on a recommendation from a friend so I could still walk when it's messy out in the winter. I typically wear an 8.5M and I ended up getting an 8M because 8.5 wasn't available. The 8 was perfect - still plenty of toe room. They aren't too heavy and I like the firm support. I have high arches so I added an insert to one boot for my achy arch and it did the trick. I love that there are actual arch supports. Cheaper boots always have a flat foot. Nice light/mid-weight. I have another pair of heavy Asolos that I love, but are just not as cushioned and are heavy.
