They are the right size for a succulent plug, leaving enough room for the plant to grow both outwards and upwards. They are deep enough to let the roots grow downward, and they have a drainage hole to prevent water from pooling. Mine didn't have any imperfections as someone else mentioned. Plus - if you get a defective product, just exchange it for free. As someone else mentioned (and as listed in the description), they don't come with succulents.Shame that the ratings are so bad on this item - I think most would find it beautiful compared to the other options in similar price range. I know I did. ### ⭐ Very poor quality *by L***. on November 13, 2018* I ordered these because the price was right and the 1 review was 5 stars.They are definitely Chinese crap. If I would have paid $10 for them, I would consider keeping them BUT I will not for $20.One was chipped and the other 2 had dried drips on the side. Very poor quality paint and texture. The quality isn’t the very best (see my second picture with the dimple) and you can see some sort of clear coat drips, but I still think it’s a deal with how much you pay for. Super cute. My three pots did not include the three bamboo/wooden trays as advertised in the description. Oh well.
