I purchased them for a bunk bed (one on top, one on bottom). The idea is cute but overall they're just "okay". The light is just enough to be considered a nightlight, which worked for our needs. The star itself is a tad bigger than my hand, all plastic and the wall mounting is kind of ridiculous (too much- how many screws do you need to mount a 1lb light?).
