I finally got to where i can use it bare skin( I am sensitive and i had to work myself up to it) It felt really good, i almost fell asleep.. I recommend using it on the bed as opposed to the floor. The 4 stars is because of the pillow.. I found i couldnt use it as it didnt hit the right spots on my neck and base of my skull, the foam is kind of firm. To remedy that I pulled the foam out and cut a slight indent with a knife to lay my neck in.. It worked perfectly... I wanted to post a fair warning with the handling of the mat.. THE SPIKES ARE VERY SHARP, I cut my fingers as i accidently slid them across the mat. When lying on and coming off the mat, you must do it methodically or you can cut yourself.. Its an awesome Mat and a great idea for pain relief.. Highly recommend..
