This is a very nice set. My grandson loves this Brio set. Very good quality. **Q: Is the engine supposed to move on it’s own? I see others have answered yes, but the one we have does not. It lights up and makes sound, but that’s it.** A: No, the engine/train DOES NOT move on its own. It makes sounds, as you move it by hand. This train set is really fantastic, my son (5 now) has been playing with it for over 2 years now and it doesn’t get old.
