Review: Great way to put buttery flavor into my foods :) - I love butter! Who doesn't? But I'm 60 now, post menopausal, and have to watch my cholesterol. Also discovered recently, I have very high LP(a). So I'm taking saturated fats seriously. I love to sautee veggies with garlic and olive oil, but one day I whipped up a concoction that felt like it was missing something - butter. But I was determined to avoid actual butter, so I went looking around, and discovered this! I did not really know butter extract was a thing - Yay! i tried it the other day on my veggies and it was so good! Just a few drops was enough. I added it as a condiment to hot food, but I got a bit of alcohol. So next time I'll add it at the end of the cook cycle so there's enough heat to burn off the alcohol. Bet this would taste amazing in baked goods. So happy I found something that let's me have my butter flavor and aroma without the fat. It's made from real butter, no chemical substitute, all natural. All the flavor, none of the fat. And can't beat the price. Win-win! Enjoy :) Review: Great for Baking - This butter extract adds rich buttery flavor to baked goods without needing additional butter flavoring ingredients. I’ve used it in cookies, cakes, and frostings with great results. A little goes a long way. ## Features - 2X more Butter Extract than our 1 fl. oz. bottle - Crafted with real butter for a smooth, buttery taste - No corn syrup, non-GMO & gluten-free - RECIPE TIP: Bake an extra-rich cake by stirring 2 tsp. into batter for a 2-layer cake - ALL BUTTERED UP: Add to homemade pastry dough like cinnamon rolls or pie crust ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07JJS4XV4 | | ASIN | B07JJS4XV4 | | Age Range Description | Adults | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,009 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #3 in Natural Extracts | | Brand Name | McCormick | | Container Type | Bottle | | Cuisine | General | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (2,003) | | Diet Type | Vegan | | Flavor | Butter | | Item Volume | 2 fluid ounces | | Item Weight | 2.56 ounces | | Item model number | 901542313 | | Manufacturer | McCormick & Company, Inc. | | Manufacturer | McCormick & Company, Inc. | | Model Number | 901542313 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Package Size Name | 2 fl oz | | Part Number | 901542313 | | Product Dimensions | 2.16 x 1.1 x 4.94 inches; 2.62 ounces | | Size | 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | GMO-free, Gluten free | | UPC | 052100042848 | | UPC | 052100042848 | | Unit Count | 2 Fluid Ounces | | Units | 2 Fluid Ounces | ## Product Details - **Brand:** McCormick - **Flavor:** Butter - **Item Volume:** 2 fluid ounces - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Specialty:** GMO-free, Gluten free ## Images ![Butter Extract with Other Natural Flavors, 2 fl oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81VyNSNJxkL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: how many in this pack?** A: This ad is for one 2oz bottle of McCormick Butter Extract. ~ Erica **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: Our Butter Extract contains the following ingredients: ALCOHOL, WATER, NATURAL FLAVOR & EXTRACTIVES OF BUTTER (MILK). ~ Erica ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great way to put buttery flavor into my foods :) *by L***A on May 12, 2026* I love butter! I’ve used it in cookies, cakes, and frostings with great results. A little goes a long way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best of the butter extracts! *by J***Y on July 23, 2026* I do a lot of macro friendly baking which means that I don't normally use any butter so I've experimented with several butter extracts and the McCormick is by far the best of all the ones that I've tried. Most have barely any butter flavor and/or an odd, alcohol-ish back note. The McCormick leaves a great butter note! I'll usually add this and/or the McCormick cake batter extract to give my baked goods a much richer flavor. ## Frequently Bought Together - McCormick Butter Extract with Other Natural Flavors, 2 fl oz - McCormick Cake Batter Flavor, 2 fl oz - McCormick Pure Lemon Extract, 2 fl oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/91763863-butter-extract-with-other-natural-flavors-2-fl-oz](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/91763863-butter-extract-with-other-natural-flavors-2-fl-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
