Very strong peppermint smell. - Worked well on kitchen ants, but it is not just a repellant. Killed on contact. To really stop the army we found holes on the outside of the house and sprayed another desertcart product there. It was also a plant based non poison to humans or, supposedly, critters. We live in the woods and try hard to not use poisons. Review: This literally saved my life! - My fridge broke and over the weekend my landlord replaced it with a fridge that turned out to be infested with roaches! I have a service animal and the landlord's pest control company couldn't guarantee their chemicals were pet-safe. This was recommended to me by a friend. With no choice but to declare war on these kitchen infiltrators, I ordered a bottle at 6am while getting ready for work and I got SAME DAY delivery! I went home and with my battle plans laid out, and launched a ground attack at nightfall. The enemy roaches were quick to respond, sending out their fiercest and biggest soldiers at speeds only witnessed by the gods above! I sprayed every inch of Fort Kitchen, whereupon dozens of roaches met their rightful deaths, quickly and painfully, as I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran into the frontlines of battle, valiantly defending that which is my sacred home! Some say the battle lasted days, others say it lasted minutes. At the end of it all, as the peppermint mist cleared on the horizon of Mt. Trashcan, the casualties of war were made known to all. Dozens upon dozens of carcasses, belly-up in defeat... One fierce general escaped and retreated to higher ground in attempts to launch a sneak attack on Makeup Mountain in Fort Bathroom. My troops attacker with even greater ferocity, fresh off our victorous kills, and General Giant Roach was easily captured in the prison cell of Nearby Padded Envelope, whereupon he was unsuccessfully interrogated in a language of screams only the neighbour's dog could understand, before he was ultimately sentenced to a swift but humane death. The battles were tough and troops were weary as the night turned to dawn. But as the sun rose this morning, a clear message had been sent to all nearby rebels: Mighty Mint is an impenetrable force and if you ever find yourself under attack, you WILL come out victorious... And maaaaybe a little emotionally traumatized. But with the affordability of this product, you can still easily cover the cost of therapy. Also, my entire house smells like that chocolate peppermint patties. And who doesn't love to literally be able to smell their own victory? ;) ## Features - Pet-Friendly & Family-Safe Formula – Mighty Mint is a top pick for pet parents looking for a natural pest control solution. You can easily make your own using peppermint oil, I also add a bit of spearmint. Just add water, an emulsifier, and the oils you like shake and spray. This product smells great, but didn't work at repelling any spiders, bugs, or mice. **Q: how many ounces of peppermint oil are actually in this product?** A: If the label in the photo is correct, it’s a 4% peppermint oil solution that’s 16 fluid ounces total volume. That works out to (.04 x 16 = ) .64 fluid ounces of peppermint oil. **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: Active Ingredients: Pure Origin Peppermint Oil Other Ingredients: Water, Non-Toxic Emulsifiers **Q: Would this product be effect in cold weather?** A: I found that I needed it most in cold weather! It did a great job keeping bugs away. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works. Very strong peppermint smell. *by K***L on October 5, 2026* Worked well on kitchen ants, but it is not just a repellant. It is a bug REPELLENT. I don't actually know how well peppermint works as a bug repellent because the smell doesn't linger long and I'm perpetually forgetting to apply it, but science says bugs do dislike the smell, and this is a large quantity of peppermint oil for a fairly nice price. Use it as an essential oil and it can be the same price for a tiny bottle -_- What I do like about this is it's easy to use and does make the apartment smell nice. My roommate also has a sensitivity to chemicals, so this is a natural way for dealing with bugs that doesn't make her sick. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T OVERUSE IT. Which is the reason for the one star off. Other reviews claimed the peppermint smell makes them feel sick. I love peppermint and sometimes use peppermint essential oils in a defuser. But I sprayed all the windows liberally in my apartment and then had to detox because too much does leave an overwhelming aroma in the air. ## Frequently Bought Together - Mighty Mint Peppermint Oil Insect Repellent Spray – Natural Indoor & Outdoor Bug Control for Spiders, Ants, Roaches, and More – Plant-Based, Extra-Strong Formula - 16 oz - TERRO Ant Killer Bait Stations T300B - Liquid Bait to Eliminate Ants - 12 Count Stations for Effective Indoor Ant Control - Ortho Home Defense Max Indoor Insect Barrier with Extended Reach Comfort Wand, Kills Ants, Roaches, Spiders, Fleas and Ticks, 1 gal. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/89138383-mighty-mint-peppermint-oil-insect-repellent-spray-16-oz](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/89138383-mighty-mint-peppermint-oil-insect-repellent-spray-16-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
