One for each side. I had previously fabricated seat releases using the key ring and paracord method, was never real happy with that arrangement. My truck is the Lariat model, which has slightly thicker rear seat back padding. I had to modify each latch by bending the thin metal at two points so they would clear the seat back padding and work correctly. Very easy to do with a pair of linesmans pliers. If you have the XLT model, you may not have to do that. I put a small dab of light grease on the part where it catches the round bar on the cab back. Works great now, a small pull and the seat back unlocks.HINT: when you are done, make sure your seat bottom is in the upright position before latching the seat back for the first time. It may not catch correctly if you don't. You only have to do this the first time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as advertised *by J***8 on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2019* I used a Youtube video for installation instructions. It was quick and easy and required only a couple tools.I added some aluminum tape to the black woven strap in order to increase its rigidity. I don't know if it's needed, but I thought it may help keep the loop sticking straight up for easy access as the years pass. The unit works and is a great gadget which gives you easy access to some otherwise unavailable space in your truck.The price is a great value, increasing the utility of the vehicle.I can't imagine why someone wouldn't put this in their truck (or why they all don't come with it). ### ⭐⭐ Works barely *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019* It fits but not well. there is a locator lug on the latch assy that into a hole on the seat back. this accessory does not provide for that. You have to either drill a hole to accommodate it or flatten the lug. Also the edge of this does not mesh well with the edge of a cut out in the seat back.
