The star is fastened to the tree and that lights up and changes colour. When the lights change they make all differant coloured patterns on the wall. I could look at this tree all day, it is very relaxing to watch. However, at least 7 branches have now stopped lighting up and no longer work. I contacted the seller, they apologised and said leave a review.
