We only used them for cold drinks & water but they fold away and are light so great for taking out for the day. The screw top with closable drinking hole was useful. Seems really good construction. Takes a couple of goes to efficiently open/ collapse, but it is pretty easy. The hard plastic heatproof ring that goes around the middle can be turned around and stowed in the bottom of the folded cup, so does not take up extra space. Easy to clean and does not add any taste to the coffee. I use this frequently - a good buy.EDIT: After 5 1/2 years it has given up the ghost. It sprung a leak this morning and I got sprayed with hot coffee. I did order a spare recently, so hopefully I'll get another 5 years out of that.
