The length of the grip gives better control and they look good. Value for the money is very good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cured my issue! Great Fit! *by R***M on November 5, 2019* I was getting a pinch every time I fired my P229 and I found out that it isn't that uncommon of an issue with this pistol. The Equinox was already fitted with a short reach trigger and the wood grips always had seemed to be a little larger for me. So to help cure the issue I was told to try a different set of grips. Long story short the finger pinch is gone and the gun fits my hand much better. Maybe it is the grippy rubber or the grip pushes my hand higher on the trigger, but I am quite satisfied with my set of grips. Installation was a breeze. The only recommendation I would make is to add a choice to include the proper mounting screws. Because of the wood grips and being the Equinox version of the p229 mine screws were stainless steel or maybe brushed nickel.
