Straight out of the box you can attach it to a robot (or motor/s) and be on your way. I have a sabertooth 2x32 and a roboclaw 2x45 and with this being about half the price of those it holds its own pretty impressively. The customer support is second to none. I have had to contact all 3 companies for technical issues and all three were great but Cytron was the best. Pros: Plug and play Easy to configure the different modes right on the controller Plenty of power Great costumer service and support Cons: Its about 3 times as big as the other controller I mentioned (but thats only a con if you are working with minimal space. Wasnt a problem for me) There is no usb connection and no way to fine tune things such as ramping: rate of break, acceleration and all that other stuff. The presets Work just fine for me but if you require very specific settings you wont be able to achieve that with this model. The presets have worked plenty fine for me though.
