However, this model has other problems such as a weak tuner which gives you picture and sound dropouts and glitches every 10-20 minutes on it's T2 / C, terrestrial tuner. They need to put the better (older) tuners in the Supreme model, or just start again with the design. I cannot recommend any Octagon products after all of the time I have wasted on these 2 boxes. I have recorded direct from a Program and also recorded via the EPG, both were recorded to a USB Stick. Neither of them by the way showed anything on screen, to tell you you could record them. However, when you press the Record Button you will be given several record options to choose from. I haven't tried recording to an external USB HDD Drive, nor to an external USB SDD Drive, so I can't say if you can record to them too. It should be possible, provided the Octagon USB Ports provide sufficient power to those device,s or they have their own power supply. **Q: Does this work with motorised satellites?** A: The short answer is yes.
